II. Inerrancy (without error)
A. God cannot lie (Num. 23:19; Tit. 1:2).
B. Jesus knew scriptures were inerrant (Jon. 10:35; Mt. 5:17-19; Mt. 4:4)
C. Paul and Peter believed in inerrancy of the Bible (1Cor. 14:37; 2 Pet 1:19-21)
D. Scripture equates with God (Isa 5:3; Rom. 9:17; Gal. 3:8)
E. God ensured inerrancy (Deut. 18:18; Jer. 1:9)

III. Authority
A. What authority is to be rejected?

1. The church (1 Tim. 3:5)
2. Religion (1 Pet. 4:11; Mt. 15:7-9; Mt. 15:13).
3. Human Wisdom (Jer. 10:23; 1 Cor. 2:12)
4. Human Conscience (1 Tim. 1:5; Acts 23:1; Judges 21:25)
5. Man (Mt. 7:15,16; 2 Cor. 11:15-18)
6. Angels (Gal. 1:8,9)
7. The Multitudes (Ex. 23:2; Mt. 7:13,14)
8. Feelings (Jer. 17:9)

B. Why we must accept the Bible as our only authority

1, God's Word (Mt. 4:4; 1 Thess. 2:13)
2. Where God gives commands and exercises authority (HeB. 1:1,2; 2 Cor. 10:8; 1 Cor. 14:37)
3. Bible claims to be our authority (1 Pet. 4:11; 1 Pet. 3:15)
4. Apostles claim it as our authority (1 Cor. 2:12,13; 2 Thess. 3:14)
5. It will judge us (John 12:48)
6. It is indestructible (Mt. 24:35)
